Green Community, My Future
This is a community-based environmental education and tree-planting campaign in rural Zambia, targeting children and youth. With increased deforestation, climate change impacts, and environmental degradation affecting rural communities, there is an urgent need to raise awareness and build capacity among the younger generation. Through interactive workshops, community involvement, and tree-planting initiatives, this project aims to instill values of environmental stewardship, empowering young people to lead sustainable change in their schools and communities.
Green Goals Zambia
Climate change is one of the most pressing challenges facing Zambia today. With increasing deforestation, erratic rainfall patterns, and rising temperatures, there is an urgent need to raise public awareness and encourage sustainable behaviors. Sport is a powerful tool that unites communities, especially the youth, and can be strategically leveraged to promote climate change awareness and action.
Innovate Impact Hub seeks to harness the power of sports to promote environmental education and inspire community-driven climate solutions through an initiative called Green Goals Zambia.
CYBERSAFE COMMUNITIES
Our communities face growing cyber threats such as online scams, misinformation, and hacking, yet many remain unaware of basic cybersecurity principles. Young people and civil society organizations, who are often the most active online, are also the most vulnerable due to low awareness, poor digital literacy, and lack of access to training.
